“I’ve always treated music as medication, a sort of therapy for difficult times. Music is a constant in an unstable world. Lyre is a track that came out of some dissonant times for me. I treat it as an escape into a brighter world. I find comfort in something that sounds cautiously optimistic. It feels like the right time to release this track into the world. I hope others will also find comfort in all of the art being made right now, whether we are makers or the listeners. It’s important to tap into creativity as a method of self-preservation and stability, especially in such vulnerable times.”
